Little Anthony is the front man for R&B/soul/doowop NYC vocal group, The Imperials. He is most well-known for his high-pitched falsetto, influenced by Jimmy Scott. The group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2009 by longtime friend Smokey Robinson, were awarded the R&B Foundation pioneer award and are members of the vocal group hall of fame. They had numerous hits over their career including the 3 tracks featured here, “Goin’ Out Of My Head”, “Hurt So Bad” and “I’m On The Outside Looking In”. The live performance was recorded in May 1987 during the Spring Break Reunion concert series in Florida and is part of an audio and video series with new releases coming throughout 2022.
